Imaging Technologist MRI Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Imaging Technologist MRI to join our team at CommonSpirit Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Key Responsibilities- Under the direction of the Radiologist and/or Radiology Manager, perform MRI procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supervise and train technologists, ancillary personnel, and students assigned within the department.
- Activate, repair, and control work progress within designated areas of responsibility.
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the unique needs of patients across various age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Must be experienced in operating MRI equipment and evaluating images obtained, including anatomy and pathology.
- Successful completion of a fully accredited training program in MRI technology.
- Successful and valid registration/certification by a nationally recognized accrediting agency in MRI technology.
- One or more years of experience in MRI technology.
- Modality-specific advanced level registry must be obtained within 12 months of hire date.
- Availability to take call and arrive at the hospital within a 30-minute response time.
- CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA certification.
- Registry or certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Associate Degree in a related field.
