Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Legal Team, you'll play a critical role in guiding Indeed's global infrastructure growth through project leadership and close collaboration with various departments.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • ">
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts with clients.">
  • Managing the contract lifecycle, including drafting, amendments, renewals, and modifications.">
  • Collaborating closely with Sales teams to structure deals that align with revenue goals.">
  • Consulting on complex agreements in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams.">
  • Triage novel requests and appropriately escalate to other Senior Corporate Counsels or the Lead Counsel.">
  • Drafting agreements or terms of service for new Indeed product offerings.">
  • Coordinating with Finance & Accounts Receivable to align payment terms.">
  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and international laws.">
  • Monitoring industry trends and regulatory updates to ensure contract terms remain attractive.">
  • Developing and refining policies and procedures to improve contract management and negotiation strategies.">
  • Giving training and guidance to internal business partners on contract-related best practices.">

What You'll Need

">

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

">
  • ">
  • A J.D. degree and active membership in a U.S. state bar.">
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.">
  • Excellent knowledge of contract law, corporate transactions, and revenue contracts.">
  • Experience in a technology or SaaS-driven environment preferred.">
  • Ability to work autonomously while managing many high-priority negotiations.">
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.">
  • Take a collaborative, solution-driven approach to contracts and negotiations.">
