Extraction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Extraction Technician to join our team at Trulieve. As an Extraction Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our extraction and production operations.

• Prepare equipment and plant materials for extraction, ensuring adherence to state and local standards.
• Operate sophisticated extraction equipment, maintaining consistency and efficiency of product through quality control testing and procedures.
• Clean and maintain extraction equipment and manufacturing facility, adhering to strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals, and equipment used in the facility.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the extraction space, from storing raw cannabis to fulfilling orders.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to extraction equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
• Store supplies and equipment, and dispose of waste according to guidelines.
• Complete cleaning and sanitization of all production equipment, work surfaces, and tools.
• Maintain inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment, and prepare requisitions as needed.
• Maintain material safety data sheets for all chemicals and products.
• Follow all standard operating procedures regarding product creation and lab safety.
• Assist in packaging and labeling of finished products.
• Collaborate with the testing laboratory as defined by state guidelines.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
• Must pass a comprehensive background screening.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 25 pounds, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Ability to work in a production environment with exposure to organic matter, chemicals, and equipment.
