Quality Specialist I

Job Summary

Catalent is seeking a Quality Specialist I to join our team. As a Quality Specialist I, you will be responsible for auditing products and processes to ensure adherence to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality audits of production lines to ensure products meet established quality standards.
  • Audit paperwork of operators to ensure they are meeting quality standards.
  • Report any deviations to the QA Supervisor and document all areas of non-compliance.
  • Work with production and packaging managers to resolve daily issues and problems.
  • Utilize computer systems to track and record results.
  • Ensure compliance with SQF, Food Safety Plan, and Food Quality Plan standards.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance job skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BS in Food Science or related field preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
