Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coordination: Provide direction and guidance to clinical staff, ensuring the smooth operation of patient care units and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Staff Management: Coach and counsel individual team members, monitor and provide feedback on performance, and address training needs to ensure the development of a skilled and effective team.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Document daily staffing, operational, and administrative records, ensuring compliance with governmental policies and procedures.
  • Patient Care: Provide routine and complex care, with the ability to develop and implement long-range goals or plans, and continue to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Experience: 2 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
  • Certifications: RN License in state of employment or compact, BLS required.
