Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Implement and evaluate medical and nursing regimens in accordance with hospital and nursing philosophy, policies, and standards.
- Document patient information, including plan of care, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, peers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Level Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current and unobstructed New York State Registered Nurse (NY Hospitals) license.
- Current and unobstructed Connecticut Registered Nurse License (CT Hospitals).
- Preferred: American Nurses Association endorsed Certifications or Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses Certification.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification for ED, ICU, CCU, SDU, PCU, PACU, Cath Lab, GI, LDRP, IR, and Float Pool.
- PALS certification for ED, PACU, and Pediatric Areas.
- NRP certification for MCH, NICU, LDRP, and DR.
- EFM certification for LDRP.
- TCAR certification for ED and ICU.
- ENPC certification for ED RN.
- OCN certification for Infusion, Oncology, and Sharon.
- CPI or other de-escalation technique training for Behavioral Health, ED, and Float Pool.
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification for OB.
