Position Summary:

The Sinker EDM Operator role is a dynamic position that demands expertise in manufacturing components according to client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Sinker EDM and EDM Drill operations, along with the ability to effectively schedule and pre-plan workflows for the Sinker EDM machinery and necessary tooling. Success in this role requires the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision or to follow detailed work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate Sinker EDM machines, including Mitsubishi EA12S and AgieCharmilles Form 20.
• Manage the setup and operation of CNC EDM Drills (hole poppers), such as Belmont SY-CNC4050TGR and Titan Force.
• Ensure quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Perform deburring and bead blasting as necessary to prepare components for shipment.
• Work primarily on day shifts, with potential for swing shifts as required.
• Conduct maintenance on machines as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sinker EDM Operator.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and understanding electrode requirements essential for job completion.
• Ability to multitask effectively as cycle times permit.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime as necessary.

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage ranging from $24 to $35.
