Highmark Health - MRI Imaging Specialist

Position Overview

This part-time role at Highmark Health involves conducting MRI imaging procedures with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available after a two-year commitment.

General Responsibilities:

The MRI Imaging Specialist will operate during daytime hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as required. The specialist will independently perform MRI imaging procedures, troubleshooting and addressing any concerns related to imaging quality.

Key Duties:

  • Execute and manage imaging procedures, assess results, and take necessary actions to enhance image quality.
  • Provide patient education, review medical history, and administer contrast agents and/or medications.
  • Prepare imaging equipment, determine exposure parameters, and uphold safety protocols.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent certification/experience.
  • Mandatory certifications in Radiography, MRI, and CPR.
  • Required clearances include Criminal Background, Child Abuse, and FBI Fingerprinting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an MRI Imaging Specialist.
