We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop, and implement plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
- Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and families on care and treatment options
- Facilitate discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition of care
- 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Able to recognize cardiac rhythms (preferred)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire)
- NIH Stroke Certification (required within 6 months)
