Job Summary:

The Warehouse Agent 1 is responsible for loading and unloading materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and identifying discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest.

Essential Functions:

  1. Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks.
  2. Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products, and other duties.
  3. Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work are completed accurately.
  4. Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
  5. Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  6. Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Ensure a safe and secure work environment, adhering to TSA and OSHA guidelines.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink wrap material.
  • Experience using a RF scan gun is required.
  • Previous forklift certifications are preferred.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, occasional weekends.
  • Must be able to read and comprehend work instructions well.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others.
  • High attention to detail is required.
  • Must have the ability to work well with others with little supervision.
  • Must be able to lift 50+lbs unassisted.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Education:

High School or equivalent is required.

Experience:

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with 1 year of experience.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods. Employees must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above their head. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts.

Pay Range:

$20 per hour for 2nd and $21 for 3rd shifts.
