Postdoctoral Researcher

The Department of Agricultural Sciences and the South Carolina Water Resources Center at Clemson University invites qualified candidates to apply for a Postdoctoral Research position. The successful candidate will develop water demand projections and statistical and numerical models to study water management challenges in different watersheds in South Carolina.

• Collection and analysis of spatial and temporal data
• Development of water demand projections
• Preparation of high-quality maps and charts
• Preparation of detailed reports
• Presentation at stakeholders' meetings
• Collection of feedbacks and necessary adjustments
• Exploration of econometric analysis of water demand
• Assistance with data dashboard development
• Preparation of journal articles

Minimum requirements include a PhD in hydrology or water resources planning and management, or agricultural economics with focus on econometric analysis pertaining to water resources planning and management. The successful candidate should also hold a valid driving license and be willing to drive across the state to attend stakeholders' meetings.
