The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of various mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance in line with operational manuals and manufacturer guidelines. This role involves utilizing hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to maintain machinery such as engines, motors, and conveyor systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of machinery to identify malfunctions and determine necessary repairs.
- Disassemble equipment to inspect components for wear and replace defective parts as needed.
- Utilize hand and machine tools to fabricate or repair parts from metal stock.
- Conduct tests on malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with fellow maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues.
- Adjust and calibrate functional components and control instruments using various measuring tools.
- May initiate procurement processes for replacement parts and machinery.
- Perform welding tasks using appropriate equipment when required.
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance to uphold machinery reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to drive improvements in quality and efficiency.
- Conduct inspections and tests to assess equipment performance and quality.

Qualifications:
