Mathematics Instructor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Teacher - Secondary Mathematics to join our team at Muscle Shoals City Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics to students in grades 6-12, with a focus on algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, and probability.

Responsibilities:

• Teach mathematics to students in grades 6-12, with a focus on algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus, statistics, and probability.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education.

Requirements:

• Alabama Teaching Certification in Mathematics (6-12) or eligibility for certification.
• Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field (preferred).
• Experience teaching mathematics to students in grades 6-12.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.
