Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Interventional Cath Lab Tech to join our team at Avita Health System. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cardiovascular services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in NCDR registry reporting, quality initiatives, and compliance requirements for Cath Labs with ODH.
  • Participate in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including emergency procedures such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, and temporary pacemaker insertion.
  • Follow established standards of practice under the direction of a credentialed invasive radiologist, cardiologist, or cardiothoracic surgeon.
  • Participate in patient and family teaching, maintaining a role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility's mission.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Radiologic Technologist in the State of Ohio.
  • BLS certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
  • ACLS certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
  • Ability to perform 'on call' duties on a rotating basis and respond to the work site within 30 minutes of call back notification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab.
  • Previous experience with GE MAC Lab and GE Innova.
  • Previous interventional cardiac and/or vascular experience.
