About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic exams using established protocols and facility policy for proper patient identification.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, monitors, and medical equipment.
  • Position patients and equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images, adapting protocols as necessary for patients of all ages.
  • Practice infection control standards and utilize approved personal protective equipment (PPE) and disinfectant agents.
  • Perform clerical duties, including answering telephones, completing patient records, filing, and scheduling.
  • Assist providers as needed and attend department meetings.
Requirements
  • Academic and clinical training in radiology technology.
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current, valid CPR certification.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to fully use all radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment.
