Adventist Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to lead our Emergency Department team.
About the Role:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide leadership and guidance to our ED team. As a Registered Nurse - ED, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the activities of nursing and ancillary personnel, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, cost-effective care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide unit-based leadership and collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, and Physicians to ensure effective patient care.
- Supervise and direct nursing and ancillary personnel, using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.
- Ensure that patients receive cost-effective, professional care that results in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction.
- Assess and improve the quality of patient experience.
- Participate in patient care as needed and provide interventions to address patient care and operational issues.
- Work closely with the clinical team to implement systems and programs to facilitate staff members' ability to meet patient/family/physician needs.
- Manage staffing requirements and assign staff to particular patients and patient care activities based on patient acuity and needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification.
- Facility-specific license/certifications.
