Teaching Opportunity at Sylvan Learning

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate instructor to join our team at Sylvan Learning in Cary, NC. As a part-time Sylvan Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized instruction in subjects such as Reading, Writing, Math, Study Skills, SAT/ACT prep, and State exams to students of all levels.
  • Work in a small group, 3:1 setting, and become Sylvan certified.
  • Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters knowledge and confidence in our students.

Requirements:

  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A flexible schedule with hours ranging from 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm on at least 2 days per week.
