The compensation for this position ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, contingent upon qualifications and experience. The role entails significant travel, approximately 70-80%, and with the potential for overtime, earnings can exceed $110,000 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. Relocation assistance may be provided for eligible candidates.
U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain expertise in Nijhuis treatment technologies and service offerings tailored for the industrial wastewater sector.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, scheduled inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Support replacement and spare parts sales initiatives.
- Offer technical assistance for potential sales, including pilot testing and water sample analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams.
- Oversee equipment installation processes.
- Execute system startups, equipment commissioning, and performance evaluations.
- Train operators on the effective use and management of installations.
- Facilitate the setup and commissioning of mobile water treatment systems across North America.
- Coordinate the procurement of local services and equipment as necessary for specific site operations.
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to current clients.
- Assist the local marketing team with relevant materials for corporate communications and promotional activities.
- Adhere to NSI protocols and procedures concerning workplace health and safety.
Qualifications:
- Degree in biological or environmental sciences, mechanical or chemical engineering, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred but not mandatory).
- A minimum of 3 years of technical training and/or experience in the industrial water purification sector.
- Experience in maintaining, servicing, and/or operating screening, Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), and biological treatment systems.
- Familiarity with both aerobic and anaerobic biological treatment processes.
- Prior experience in sludge dewatering and chemical dosing is advantageous.
