The Production Operator plays a crucial role in our team-oriented production process, responsible for operating automated production and packaging equipment, identifying equipment failures, and performing minor adjustments or contacting relevant personnel for assistance. This position requires a high level of expertise in the entire production and packaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food quality meets specifications
  • Package food manually and using machinery
  • Operate and adjust machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy and proper food specifications
  • Maintain equipment settings and ensure supplies are adequate
  • Ensure work areas, machinery, and equipment are clean and organized, adhering to applicable safety rules at all times
  • Report and take necessary actions to ensure food safety and prevent quality problems from occurring; communicate safety, quality, production, maintenance, and hygiene issues to relevant personnel
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Adhere to packaging work schedules and running orders
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Equipment and product knowledge
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and products
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
