Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Vascular Surgery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound care and minor office-based procedures, with a strong background in vascular surgery. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our attending physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients, including pre-operative and post-operative management, wound care, and minor procedures.
Responsibilities- Perform clinical assessments and management services independently or in a shared visit model on new and established Vascular Surgery patients.
- Provide patient education and counseling on wound care and vascular health.
- Initiate pre-and-post-operative orders and arrange follow-up studies and appointments.
- Assess patients based on standardized protocols and maintain vascular databases.
- Participate in clinical research projects and provide staff education.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
- Completion of a surgical residency preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA).
- Must hold an active and current California Physician Assistant License (PA).
- Must hold current national board certification by first day of work and maintain.
- Must hold an active and transferable DEA license to California as required by the clinical specialty.
- Must be eligible for payer enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid.
