Job Overview:
A Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility is seeking a Travel RN. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of specialized experience, current BLS certification, COVID vaccination, and familiarity with Meditech.
Job Requirements:

Overtime may be mandated up to 4 hours beyond the scheduled shift as per union regulations. Flexibility to rotate shifts may be required to accommodate facility needs. Expect to work every other weekend.
Unit Specific Responsibilities:
As an RN, your duties will include conducting initial assessments, administering medications, overseeing CNAs, performing skin and pain assessments, managing admissions, providing wound care, and implementing pressure ulcer prevention and treatment protocols. You will also facilitate family involvement and communication.
Lifting Equipment:
Utilization of a mechanical total lift system.
Experience Level:
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Engagement with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy teams during daily meetings.
Shifts & Scheduling:
Primarily 8-hour shifts, with potential for 12-hour shifts based on departmental needs.
Uniform Requirements:
Any color scrubs are acceptable.
Orientation Details:
1/2 day of general orientation, followed by 1-2 days with an educator, and 1-3 days with a preceptor on the designated shift.

Long-Term Care | RN
Facility Type: 1 unit; short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, skilled nursing facility, with no locked memory units. Capacity of 28 beds, featuring private rooms. Typical patient census ranges from 23 to 28.
Electronic Medical Records:
Meditech will transition to a new system in the near future.
