Contractor Service & Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team.

Job Details:

  • Duration: 10 weeks
  • Location: Ringgold, Georgia
  • Schedule: 4 10's (Monday-Thursday)
  • Per Diem: $120 (days worked)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment, according to blueprints.
  • Interpret pipefitting standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Assemble or secure pipes, tubes, fittings, or related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering, or threading joints.
  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting or threading.
  • Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipe lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
  • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair, according to specifications.
  • Select pipe sizes, types, or related materials, including supports, hangers, or hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.
  • Identify and install different types of valves.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical knowledge, including machines and tools, their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Design knowledge, including techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Mathematical knowledge, including tables of equivalents and trigonometry.
