About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Metro Dentalcare in Elk River. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and compassionate dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and best practices through ongoing education and training.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Requirements
  • A current dental hygienist license in MN and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • New Graduate or years of clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
