Position Overview:
This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of our clinical laboratory. The supervisor will be responsible for assigning tasks to personnel and ensuring efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily laboratory functions and delegate responsibilities to staff members.
- Supervise the phlebotomy team, providing training and ongoing education.
- Conduct daily quality control reviews and monthly evaluations of CLIA documentation.
- Validate new tests and ensure compliance with laboratory director approvals.
- Participate in the recruitment process and assist in training new hires.
- Ensure adherence to CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
- Lead the Quality Assurance program and perform monthly audits.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through effective communication with clients.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have a minimum of two years of clinical laboratory experience and a valid Florida license as a general supervisor.
