Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Manufacturing Operations: Direct employees and plant floor activities to achieve a consistent and high-quality product.
  • Ensure a Safe Workplace: Enforce safety and sanitation rules and principles to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Employee Relations: Maintain positive employee relations, including participating in evaluation and training of hourly personnel.
  • Performance Management: Track employees' work performance and attendance to ensure performance metrics are met.
  • Process Improvement: Utilize metrics/data to evaluate and improve work processes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other supervisors and cross-functional teams to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and establish work schedules.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in a production management or supervision role, preferably in the food processing industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to help take the team to the next level.
