Physical Therapist Assistant - PTA

Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Johnstown is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation care to our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the plan of treatment for each resident, working closely with our therapists to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Perform necessary documentation to meet center, state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements.
  • Participate in all center-directed processes and services, including marketing efforts and in-service training programs.
  • May travel to other facilities to provide treatments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with an associate's degree in physical therapy or occupational therapy.
  • Actively licensed/certified assistant in assigned state(s) of employment as a Physical Therapy Assistant or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Prefer experience/knowledge in older adult rehabilitation and governmental and regulatory guidelines in designated healthcare settings.
