Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Washington Elementary School District No. 6. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students with special needs.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and abilities.
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in occupational therapy to ensure students receive evidence-based services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Arizona.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with students with special needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Occupational Therapist will work in a variety of settings, including classrooms and therapy rooms. The position requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and to stand for long periods of time.
