Job Summary

Catch LA is a globally influenced seafood-restaurant set in the West Hollywood design district. With its signature, open kitchen and breathtaking views of downtown Los Angeles & the Hollywood Hills, the 340 seats retractable rooftop haven invites the outside in as it blends great seafood with sushi and Asian influences and streaming, shareable style of service with a unique, open-air dining room and elevated, interactive atmosphere. With a focus on the food CATCH LA keeps it fresh, incorporating local and sustainable ingredients wherever possible as it cultivates a menu mix of Catch classics like the Catch Roll, Truffle Sashimi, Wagyu on a Rock and Cantonese Lobster with inspired renditions of Vegan and Gluten-Free additions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare all menu items during dinner service, focusing on learning and perfecting technique, speed, and consistency.

Follow recipe and portion control guidelines set by the restaurant.

Set up stations with appropriate par levels for the shift and restock items.

Organize, sanitize, and clean the kitchen, storage areas, and coolers.

Follow sanitary food handling procedures.

Safely handle and operate food service equipment, including knives, pots and pans, ovens, grills, food processors, and slicers.

Requirements:

1-2 years of Back of the House experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant.

Excellent culinary knowledge and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

Polished and well-groomed appearance.

Strong verbal communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
