Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Director of Clinical Excellence. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the management of surgical services and procedural areas, ensuring that quality patient care is provided in accordance with our hospital's mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the planning, organization, staffing, budgeting, and direction of surgical services and procedural areas.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, identifying areas for growth and development.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with hospital departments and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements, professional qualifications, and safety standards.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing required; Masters prepared preferred.
- A minimum of five years knowledge and experience in perioperative nursing and two years of management experience.
- Evidence of continuing education in OR nursing, management skills, and presence of mandatory education programs.
- Experience demonstrating a high level of written and oral communication skills, ability to conceptualize, develop, and effect quality clinical surgical services, effective leadership/management skills, and commitment to continuous quality improvement.
