Senior LVN

The Senior LVN is a key member of our clinical team, providing direct patient care and coordinating workflows to ensure seamless operations. This role requires a strong support system for the department lead LVN and/or leadership, working collaboratively with clinical staff, physicians, and other medical teams to deliver safe and efficient patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provides orientation and training for new clinical staff, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Maintains a functional work environment by managing quality assurance/quality control logs, regulatory needs, and supply levels.
- Administers prescribed medications, injections, or IV medications using standard processes and provider guidance.
- Provides basic patient care and treatments, including vital sign collection, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, and specimen collection, as advised by the provider.
- Observes patient conditions, documents, and reports changes to the provider for necessary actions.
- Answers patient and physician messages with provider input.
- Reviews MA skills and performance using designated evaluation tools.
- Performs quality assurance and quality control measures to maintain compliance in the clinical environment.
- Organizes and ensures proper clinical team coverage to support providers and deliver safe patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and valid California LVN License.
- IV/Phlebotomy Certified within one year of hire date.
- BLS from the American Heart Association and/or the American Red Cross.
- Three (3) years of experience required, with OB/GYN experience highly preferred.
