Job Summary

CareNow is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant with X-ray license to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various clinical duties, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
  • Apply splints, dressings, and bandages as directed.
  • Prepare, maintain, and clean exam rooms.
  • Check patients in and out of the computer and assist with front desk duties.
  • Maintain records and logs on activities, including in-house lab work, drug screens, and lab work sent out to other labs.
  • Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
Requirements
  • High School graduate as required by the state.
  • Medical Assistant education, certification, or 3 years of experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
  • Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residency.
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
  • Ability to obtain a BLS Certification within 30 days of start.
  • Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion.
