Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Vitality Senior Living. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Food Service Delivery: Serve delicious meals and ensure resident satisfaction by providing attentive and courteous service.
  • Meal Record Keeping: Accurately record guest meals and report to the Business Office Director as needed.
  • Departmental Support: Recognize needs of the department and report concerns to the Culinary Services Director to ensure seamless operations.
  • Event Support: Assist in preparations for special meals and parties, as well as daily operations and cleaning of the dining room and server areas.
  • Infection Control: Ensure adherence to procedures regarding community infection control policies to maintain a safe environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cook(s) to support the team.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Food Safety Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate adherence to proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Customer Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Food Safety Awareness: Understands food safety procedures, sanitation of equipment measures, and storage techniques.
  • Teamwork: Ability to have awareness of team dynamic, inventory, safety, and cleanliness.
