Rehabilitation Practice Associate Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Associate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD.

Job Summary:

The Healthcare Support Associate will perform various administrative and clinical tasks to support the rehabilitation practice, including registration, scheduling, and financial procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform registration, scheduling, and financial procedures in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assist with patient care functions, including answering phones, responding to patient inquiries, and providing basic clerical support.
  • May be responsible for assigning, overseeing, and monitoring the work of other employees.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and therapists to ensure effective operations and delivery of high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology through formal training or previous experience.
  • Two years of professional or hospital billing experience required.
