- The South Operating Room (Main OR) consists of a spacious 25-bed facility primarily focused on adult inpatient procedures, alongside a limited number of outpatient surgeries across various specialties.
- Our Operating Room offers comprehensive multidisciplinary services to adult patients throughout their healthcare journey.
- The department provides care for Ambulatory, Adult Acute Care, and Adult ICU patients transitioning from home, emergency departments, or inpatient settings.
- Recognized as a Magnet designated hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- AHA BLS certification is required.
- Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma center is a prerequisite.
- Shifts will vary.
- The South Operating Room (Main OR) is a large 25-bed facility focused primarily on adult inpatient surgeries, with a limited number of outpatient procedures.
- Surgical specialties include: Cardiac/Thoracic, General Surgery/Minimally Invasive/Colorectal/Bariatric, Gynecology, Oral Maxillofacial, Neuro/neuro spine, Orthopedic/orthopedic spine, Otolaryngology, Plastics, Transplant, Urology, Vascular, Robotic (Urology/GYN/Oral), and Trauma.
- Procedures for infants and children under 18 years are also conducted when specialized equipment is required.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is necessary on the first day to obtain the hospital ID badge.
- This facility provides essential information regarding unit orientation and ongoing educational requirements.
