A strong background in industrial construction, particularly in welding, industrial piping, civil works, concrete, and railroad projects, is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Estimation: Assess blueprints, specifications, and related documents to develop accurate and thorough cost estimates for projects.
  • Document Review: Analyze project plans and specifications to pinpoint potential cost implications and inconsistencies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure precise and complete cost evaluations.
  • Expense Monitoring: Track project expenditures and refresh cost tracking systems to represent the current financial situation.
  • Bid Evaluation: Solicit and assess bids from subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee competitiveness and precision.
  • Reporting: Create cost reports and estimates for management assessment and project strategizing.
  • Scope Change Assessment: Analyze alterations in project scope and their effects on costs and timelines.
  • Budget Support: Aid in formulating and overseeing project budgets to promote financial efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience Requirement: A minimum of 5 years in estimating within the industrial construction domain.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industrial construction, including welding, industrial piping, civil works, concrete, and railroad construction.
  • Analytical Expertise: Demonstrated capability to evaluate complex project data and deliver precise cost estimates.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly articulate cost information and recommendations.
