Job Summary:

As a Cath Lab Specialist at Covenant Health (Tennessee), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art Heart Catheterization Laboratory. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technologist to join our team of experts in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and angiography procedures.

Responsibilities:

Assist cardiologists and cardiac surgeons in performing complex cardiac procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations, PTCI's, stemis, ablations, and pacemakers.
Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac anatomy and physiology, correlating pressure waveforms and rhythm analysis.
Maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, general safety and radiation safety standards, and equipment quality control.
Actively participate in the orientation and training of new employees and students.
Respond appropriately and timely to patients, physicians, and other customer needs.

Requirements:

Current registration as a CCI Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent certification.
Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience, including at least two (2) years of professional Cath Lab experience.
Clinical expertise and knowledge for structural heart, high-risk PTCI, peripheral vascular, carotid intervention, T-car, cardiac electrophysiology, cardiac ablations, and cardiac resynchronization management demonstrated by observation and documented on a competency checklist.
