Responsibilities and Requirements

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, including assistance with daily living skills and personal care.
  • Supporting individuals in achieving personal goals and participating in community events and activities.
  • Administering medications according to training and maintaining accurate health and behavioral records.
  • Fostering a safe, clean, and respectful environment in the home or community settings.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, families, and external providers to ensure high-quality, person-centered support.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in caregiving or a related field, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $44,272-$45,984, depending on experience and qualifications.
