Therapeutic Program Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Program Worker to join our team at the Warrensville Developmental Center. As a Therapeutic Program Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals and becoming more independent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living skills, including eating, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Implement active treatment activities, such as gym, pavilion, and pool activities.
  • Assist with planning and shopping activities, including vocational skills and hair appointments.
  • Complete daily and monthly documentation, including reporting any unusual incidents or reactions to medication.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties in living areas.
  • Redirect unsafe actions to bring about positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with less than 6 points.
  • No experience required.
