Production Engineer at Meta

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Meta's services, including back-end services, front-end services, and infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable systems to support Meta's services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production incidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
  • 7+ years of coding experience.
  • Experience with development languages such as Python, C++, Rust, PHP/Hack, Go, and Java.
  • Experience with software frameworks and APIs.
  • Experience with Internet service architecture capacity planning and/or handling needs for urgent capacity augmentation.
  • Knowledge of common web technologies and/or Internet service architectures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science.

Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
