About the Role

SRL Total Source LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Time Management: Manage your time efficiently to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning of the building(s) and maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Supply Management: Properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE), chemicals, and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Specialized Cleaning: Complete non-routine cleaning tasks as specified by management.
  • Floor Care: Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Clean and stock restrooms to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Spill Response: Clean up spills promptly and effectively using the appropriate equipment.
  • Window and Mirror Cleaning: Clean windows and mirrors to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Reporting: Notify management of any major repairs or maintenance needs.
  • Dust Control: Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment to maintain a clean and dust-free environment.
  • Trash and Recycling: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Security: Lock doors and secure the building after operating hours.
Requirements and Experience
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1+ years of janitorial experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and OSHA regulations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical duties including standing, reaching, lifting, and moving objects up to 30 pounds.
