About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
