Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Specialist to join our team at K2 Staffing. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Develop and implement project plans, manage customer updates, and create remediation plans to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Server Configuration and Deployment: Design, configure, and deploy servers to meet the needs of our clients, including Active Directory, network security, and server optimization.
  • Network and Security Configuration: Implement and maintain network and security configurations, including network architecture, firewall rules, and access control lists.
  • Network Software and Hardware Optimization: Monitor and optimize network software and hardware to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
  • MDM Software Configuration and Rollout: Configure and deploy MDM software to manage company-wide endpoints, including device enrollment, configuration, and security.
  • Mini Projects and Initiatives: Develop and implement mini projects, such as server builds, network rollouts, and MDM implementations, to drive business growth and improve technical capabilities.
  • File Servers and Cloud Computing: Design, configure, and deploy file servers and cloud computing solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
  • VOIP Solutions: Implement and maintain VOIP solutions, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Exchange Server Management: Manage and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • New User Onboarding: Develop and implement new user onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees into our technical environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Technical Experience: Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers, and workstations, Exchange server, and Active Directory.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Three years of experience in a client-facing environment, such as sales engineering, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and Time-Management Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proposal Writing and Implementation: Experience writing proposals for and implementing technical solutions to fulfill business needs.
  • Results-Oriented and Self-Motivated: Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player with a strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems.
  • RMM Tool Experience: Experience with RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools a plus.
  • Problem-Solving and Customer Service Skills: Ability to problem-solve at a high level, with extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • Sales Training Experience: Sales training experience is a plus.
  • MSP Environment Experience: Having worked in an MSP environment is a major plus.
Ideal Qualifications
  • CompTIA Certifications: CompTIA Net+ and/or CompTIA Security+ certifications a plus.
  • Microsoft Certifications: MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator/Solutions Associate) or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) MCITP Microsoft Certified IT Professional, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) certifications a plus.
  • Cisco Certifications: CCNA or CCIE-Cisco certifications a real plus.
