About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with flexible 12-hour shifts. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to our patients. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your critical thinking skills to prioritize patient needs and make sound decisions.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop care plans
- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve patient outcomes and improve departmental performance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- 1+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department
- Current and valid nursing license
- BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role
- Certification in Emergency Nursing highly preferred
