AEMT Position

Suburban Emergency Medical Services is seeking a skilled AEMT to join our team. As an AEMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in a pre-hospital setting.

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, administering Basic and Advanced Life Support to patients as needed.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritizing medical procedures and communicating effectively with medical personnel and treatment facilities.
• Rescue and extricate patients from accidents or entrapment situations, using proper rescue and medical techniques.
• Complete patient care forms, insurance forms, and other required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Adhere to safety protocols, preventing contamination by blood-borne pathogens and maintaining a safe working environment.
• Educate and train personnel, EMS trainees, and the public on emergency medical procedures and techniques.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Pennsylvania Advanced EMT certification.
• Pennsylvania-approved certification for CPR for the Professional Rescuer and/or American Heart Association BLS CPR and AED for the Healthcare Professionals.
• Required continuing medical education credits as set forth by the State EMS office.
• EMSVO certification.
• Hazardous Materials R&I.
• NIMS 100, 200, and 700.
• Valid driver's license.
