Responsibilities
Patient Care:
Consistently apply the nursing process in daily practice and manage complex patients with minimal assistance.
Knowledge and Skills:
Identify personal learning needs to be competent in area of practice, independently perform advanced skills, and assist others to develop skills using the teaching-learning process.
Professional Relationships/Leadership:
Initiate and effectively demonstrate behaviors that result in positive patient outcomes through group process, and identify the need to change own practice based on quality improvement outcomes.
Quality Improvement/Research:
Expand understanding of research process and its specific application to nursing practice.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Maintain and document all applicable required education, demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations, comply with the company's attendance policy, participate in continuous quality improvement activities, perform work in a cost-effective manner, and follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Education
Associate's Degree required, with the option to substitute Formal Nursing Program for the Associate Degree.
Experience:
1 year of RN experience.
Credentials
Basic Cardiac Life Support and Registered Nurse required.
