The Staff RN - Ambulatory Services is a key member of the interprofessional team, providing therapeutic patient and family centered care. This role requires systematic and continuous data collection and assessment to develop, execute, and evaluate the plan of care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ACLS and independent rhythm interpretation and defibrillation
- Administer advanced lifesaving medications and conduct templated visits for patient assessment
- Provide specialty patient education and sedation
- Monitor telemetry and interpret/management of rhythm changes
- Assist with complex procedures and advanced wound therapy
- Manage central lines and perform device interrogation and interpretation
- Coordinate patient care and perform direct patient care, patient education, and telephone triage/eVisits
- Clinical experience and/or interest in the care and management of patient populations specific to the area of employment
- At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Nursing licensure required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire
