Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care, incorporating evidence-based practices and research into the nursing process.
- Demonstrate clinical competency in assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe and effective manner.
- Identify patient, unit, and organizational priorities, incorporating them into the nursing process to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Adhere to all compliance and policy/procedures of the organization, including licensure renewal, assigned training, employee health screenings, time and attendance policy, dress code policy, patient confidentiality, infection control, and medication administration.
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory agency requirements, including TJC, DHEC, and CMS, to ensure compliance and quality care.
- Provide care within the scope of the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
The acute inpatient setting at Prisma Health requires staff to be scheduled for a significant amount of shift, weekend, holiday, and on-call work. As a Registered Nurse, you will be expected to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina.
- Experience in an acute inpatient setting, preferably in a leadership or clinical director role.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and research in nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
