Job Summary
The successful candidate will provide clinical oversight for the day-to-day operations of the hospital, working with patients in a therapeutic setting, following physician orders, and completing assessments and treatment plans. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient care and develop nursing care plans
- Assign and supervise nursing staff
- Review staffing schedules and adjust as needed
- Administer medications and perform venipuncture
- Provide patient and family education
- Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and treatment plans
- Develop discharge plans and arrange post-hospital care
Requirements
- One year of clinical nursing experience in geriatrics and/or mental health
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Registered Nursing (RN) degree
- Current State Registered Nursing (RN) License and CPR Certification
