Key Responsibilities- Greeting and Registering Patients
- Welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Registering new patients and verifying patient information for existing patients
- Administrative Support
- Completing pre-visit planning, including insurance verification and updating patient records
- Collecting co-pays and payments as needed
- Answering inbound calls to schedule patients and acting as a liaison to clinical staff for patient questions
- Medical Assistant Duties
- Backing up medical assistants as needed, including rooming patients and documenting vitals accurately
- Populating all sections of the electronic medical record timely and accurately
- Assisting providers during examinations and treatments
- Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms following patient examinations
- Communication and Teamwork
- Providing excellent customer service to patients and colleagues
- Working effectively in a team environment to achieve common goals
- Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Formal training or experience as a medical assistant preferred
- Skills and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
- Competitive Compensation
- $20-$24 per hour
