Job Summary

Amarillo College is seeking a highly qualified Faculty - Advanced Manufacturing to join our team. As a key member of our Industrial Technology department, you will be responsible for teaching Advanced Manufacturing courses, including Industrial Technology core classes and specialization courses in Electrotechnical, Instrumentation, Renewable Energy, and HVAC areas.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Advanced Manufacturing courses as assigned each semester, utilizing a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote learning.
  • Develop and implement curriculum, including course outlines, syllabi, and instructional materials.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students, colleagues, and administrators.
  • Participate in faculty renewal and development programs to stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental and college-wide initiatives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Advanced Manufacturing, Industrial Maintenance, Instrumentation Technician, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' work experience in business and industry, with a focus on Advanced Manufacturing.
  • Experience teaching at a college level, with a proven track record of student success.
